183rd Annual Exhibition

March 3rd and 4th, 2012 at Tower Hill Botanic Garden

Exhibiting among the 2 wonderful glass houses, and a collection of mature camellia trees at Tower Hill.

Sat.  10 am to 5 pm.  Sun.  10am to 4 pm

Walk with the Camellias- a walking tour of the plants and blooms, on Saturday at 2:30 pm with Sandy Kautz and Chris Jacobs.

We will have camellia plants for sale from a most wonderful grower, Nuccio's of California.

182nd Annual Exhibition

It is very exciting to return to Tower Hill, where we will be exhibiting between the new Limonaia, a gorgeous cathedral like structure dedicated to Camellias and Citrus plants,  and the new Winter Garden, a vast courtyard with water feature commanded by 2 giant bronze turtles.  
The historic collection of camellias at Tower Hill finally have a new beautiful home.

We return with asian antiquities from Asian Collections of Brookline, MA.

181st Annual Exhibition

Blooms and plants from private collections at the peak of beauty on exhibition at this unique venue with Camellia trees in the historic collection at Tower Hill Botanic Garden.

This year our plants and blooms recall their asian heritage and are displayed among asian antiquities from Asian Collections of Brookline, MA.

Enjoy this very special annual exhibit, and the beauty of the sub-tropical orangerie at Tower Hill.

Highlights of previous exhibitions:

180th Annual Exhibition, 2009, at Tower Hill Botanic Garden, along with special jazz concert.

The 179th Annual Exhibition
, 2008 was held at the Arnold Arboretum of Harvard University. It featured demonstrations of camellia culture, including soil mixtures and a special opera program inspired by flowers and the spirit of spring!   We also participated in special show at Tower Hill Botanical Garden.

The 178th Annual Exhibition, 2007 was held at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. The Massachusetts Camellia Society was the first plant society invited to exhibit at The Gardner. 

175th Annual Exhibition, in 2004, at the Arnold Arboretum, brought record attendance for a MA Camellia Society Exhibition (and perhaps an event at the Arboretum!), some 1500 visitors came to enoy the camellias and special tasting of teas presented by Qing Ping Teahouse.
